about me

frequently at:
the wait and the wonder
I am the mom of two girls, ages 5 and 2. My oldest daughter, Annika, has had 2 liver transplants. You can read her transplant story here. Sometimes I use this journal to update friends and family on Anni's health, sometimes I use it as a mommy memoir, and sometimes I use it just to amuse myself. I make no guarantees as to anyone else's amusement.

Annika's COTA donation page
All anecdotes involving Annika were made possible by two generous organ donors. Thank you.

I love Beck Chapel. We had planned on getting married there, but then ended up at the UU church. Hmm. We really ought to go visit Bloomington soon.
I love this picture of Frankie, Moreena! You captured her emotion so well I think...so many little word bubble captions could go along with this one...
I'm always holding your family in my heart. I'm also one who checks in on your blogs frequently, just might not post as often...I don't have the gift of writing like so many of you do. But know that I'm checking in and thinking of you.
I love this picture! That is so neat that you got to take the girls to that chapel. I can't believe it has been ten years ago! Life sure has taken twists and turns since then that you never expected.
